Australian Postage Options & Prices
As we use as little packaging as is reasonable, our postage charges are also the cheapest by quite a large margin.
For instance Chiral Balance quoted between AUD $34.20 and $86.50 just to send ONE BOTTLE of DCI to Australia.
Postage prices to countries other than Australia are also quite reasonable. We do not seek to make a profit on postage and handling and only pass on the actual Post Office charges to you. Depending on which country you are in, postage may even be a little cheaper than this if you are lucky! It won’t be any more.
It is possible to insure your package against the deleterious effects of errant postal workers choosing to deliver the package with their feet!
All of the postage options are entirely your choice, however I must make clear that whilst I will do my very best to ensure that your DCI is securely packed, I can take no responsibility for DCI which is damaged in transit or worse even lost in the mail.

I am currently in the process of obtaining a specialised scoop that will measure out 100 mg of DCI but unfortunately my order has been delayed. As the therapeutic dose for DCI ranges between 10 and 20 mg per kilogram of bodyweight which for a 60 kg (132 lb) woman could be anywhere between 600 mg and 1200 mg a day, I no longer worry about being too precise with my own dosage. I take 1/8 teaspoon (500 mg of DCI) 2-4 times a day depending on what I am doing/eating and how I feel.
1/8 teaspoon measures out 500 mg of DCI. This is what I use to measure mine out despite having one of the little scoops.
You could measure out 500 mg – 1/8 teaspoon and add it to enough water to make up 10 ml, shake or stir well to dissolve, then take 4 ml of this every day in addition to your 1/8th or 1/4 teaspoon (depending upon whether you take the dose all at once or divided into a morning and evening dose). If you do this, make sure that you sterilise the bottle you are keeping the DCI liquid in, used boiled water that has cooled to body temperature and store it with a secure lid in the refrigerator.
0.15 cc is equal to 100 mg if you have access to accurate measuring equipment.
You could also buy an electronic scale that measures down to 0.1 gram – they are about $10 in Australia for a cheap one.
If you have access to Nirvana brand Stevia powder, their 20 and 40 gm pure stevia containers have an appropriately sized scoop to measure 100 mg of DCI.
The cost to send 36 grams of DCI to Canada via regular Airmail would be:
$60.00 – 2 x 18 g pure DCI powder @ $30 each
$ 2.40 – International Airmail
$ 2.55 – Paypal Cross-border payment fee
$64.95 – TOTAL in AUD

The DCI is extracted and refined from the juice of carob pods, using alcohol, water and heat. So, it is relatively natural. Each bag contains 18 grams or the equivalent of 60 x 300 mg capsules.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your interest in DCI.
1. Your daily dose would be 1400 mg (70 x 20). This is best split into as many doses as is practical for you. 2 is ok, 5 is better. As DCI is water soluble it does not stay active in the body for very long, so the more frequently you can take it the better. Maybe one day in the distant future someone might make a sustained release tablet out of it. That would be ideal.
2. 2 months supply of 1400 mg would be 85 .4 grams so you could either buy 5 x 18 gram packets or 1 x 100 gm packet for for $150 AUD giving you a 10% discount.
