I would be super interested in exercise and nutrition information. As you know, we are basically on our own to find reliable information. I was diagnosed as IR in 2006 and literally told to take metformine and keep my carbs at 100 carbs a day. I could almost feel the “pat” on my butt as I left the doctor’s office. The second visit to the endo I was equipped with questions….. but I only was able to ask a couple of the questions. On the question that would be my last she made her way to the door and shut it as soon as she finished the answer!
What I am saying is, we need information ! ! !
Hi Lee,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a poor experience, though sadly it seems to be the norm in relation to PCOS/IR. I haven’t got as much time as I’d like to maintain the website, as I’ve gone back to full time work now, but there is a lot of information up here, nonetheless. Try the News & Research tab> and Natural Treatments tab> in particular. If you have any specific questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to bump them to the top of my to do list. Chances are, they are already on there somewhere!
All the best,
Anne
